Inclusion Criteria: * patients with and without a history of neurodegenerative parkinsonian disorders, identified through ICD-10 inpatient coding (codes 'G20', 'G21', 'G22', 'G231', 'G232', 'G233', and 'F023') * patients who were hospitalised in one of the 39 AP-HP hospitals via an emergency department for a minimum duration of 24 hours Exclusion Criteria: * patients admitted to the emergency room for less than 24 hours
