Inclusion Criteria: * adult (\>18 years old), * patient undergoing primary Total Hip Arthroplasty through Direct Anterior Approach for osteoarthritis Exclusion Criteria: * hip dysplasia * leg length discrepancy greater than 2cm * history of homolateral hip surgery * neuromuscular pathology * patients declining the protocol
