Inclusion Criteria: * primary operable breast cancer and had undergone NSM Exclusion Criteria: * had metastatic disease, non-malignant breast disease cases, bilateral breast cancer cases, recurrent breast cancer as well as male breast cancer cases and patients who did not undergo NSM
