Inclusion Criteria: * Patients with displaced symphyseal/ parasymphyseal mandibular fracture * age group between 17-40 years old Exclusion Criteria: * Patients with systemic diseases that may affect bone healing * Comminuted mandibular fracture. * Edentulous patients
