Inclusion Criteria: * Sex: both sexes. * Age: above 18 years * Lesion: subacute or chronic scapholunate ligament injury * partial and complete SLIL tears Exclusion Criteria: * Acute scapholunate ligament injury * irreducible carpal malalignment * posttraumatic arthritis * associated fractures that could affect the functional outcome
