Inclusion Criteria: * Patients with a pathologically confirmed breast abscess and * presenting at KK Women's and Children's Hospital, Singapore Exclusion Criteria: Patients with: * mastitis * granulomatous mastitis * breast fillers with infection * ruptured abscess prior to intervention * other interventions or bilateral breast infection
