Inclusion Criteria: * patients undergoing general anesthesia with endotracheal intubation Exclusion Criteria: * patients with hypertrophic pyloric stenosis * patients with delayed gastric emptying * patients with esophageal stenosis * patients with at risk of gastric aspiration * patients with ileus, hepatomegaly, ascites (cannot visualize gastric antrum with ultrasound)
