Inclusion Criteria- * Patients undergoing vaginal hysterectomy for non-prolapse benign conditions and pelvic organ prolapse * at least 18 years old * Mayo Clinic patient Exclusion Criteria- °Patients who have a history of a recognized classic connective tissue disease
