Inclusion Criteria:
* comminuted sacral fracture,
* bilateral sacral fracture,
* osteoporotic sacral fractures,
* spinopelvic dissociation and
* late presented (neglected) sacral fracture.
Exclusion Criteria:
* Patients with a preoperative diagnosis of a Morel- Lavallee lesion,
* unfit patients
* immature skeleton will be excluded
