Voiding cystourethrogram is a fluoroscopy technique that can study reflux real time but at the risk of radiation side effects. In this regard, intravesicle administration of ultrasound contrast agent can help avoid radiation in children and potentially replace the conventionally used voiding cystourethrogram.
