No studies exist to compare clinical outcomes and hip survival between arthroscopy and arthrotomy in patients with mechanical hip pain undergoing periacetabular osteotomy (PAO) for dysplasia, and this is what the investigators aim to achieve in the current prospective randomized surgical trial.
