Inclusion Criteria: * Diagnosis of true boxer's fracture * Candidate for either supportive splinting or tensor bandage * Speaking, read and write English Exclusion Criteria: * Prior surgical treatment for boxer's fractures or other hand conditions. * Concurrent hand/wrist injury
