Inclusion Criteria: * Caucasian race, * both males and females, * aged ≥ 55 years, * suffering from idiopathic ERMs or secondary ERMs in proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR). * Presence of ERM was proven in optical coherence tomography (OCT) examination.
