✓. History of sharp, spontaneous, and lingering pain that was precipitated by thermal provocation and lasted mostly for ≥ 30 seconds.
✓. Early prolonged, intense, and lingering response to cold thermal stimulus and positive response electric pulp test (EPT) at low thresholds.
