Inclusion criteria
β. Written informed consent;
β. Age β₯ 18 years;
β. ASA Physical Status 3 or 4;
β. Moderate- or high-risk non-cardiac surgery (for example, orthopedic, spine, urology, and general surgery);
β. Planned pressure monitoring with an arterial line;
β. General anesthesia;
β. Surgery duration expected to last β₯ 3 hours from induction;
β. Planned overnight hospitalization.
Exclusion criteria
β. Participating in another (interventional) study;
β. Contraindication to the invasive blood pressure monitoring;
β. Patient who is confirmed to be pregnant and/or nursing mothers;
β. Emergency surgery;
β. Known clinically important intra-cardiac shunts;
β. Patient in whom an intraoperative MAP target will be \< 65 mmHg;
β. Known aortic stenosis with valve area β€ 1.5 cm2;
